About Becca
Hello! I’m Becca Dilger, and I am the sole owner, operator, and tutor of Red Tutoring. I’ve lived in Bloomington, Indiana since 1998, and have been tutoring IU students since 1999. I’m passionate about the university and its students. Go Hoosiers!
My teaching philosophy is that every single student can succeed in their courses and even have fun while doing so. I have yet to meet a single student who I did not think I could support in in accomplishing their individual course goals – goals we establish together.
My goals are to
- help students improve their grades, retain more information learned in class, and develop study skills useful in other classes
- build solid relationships with each client based on trust
- mentor each student in an individualized manner catered to their learning style
- teach the material in a way that is easy to understand
- convince my students they can and will succeed by boosting confidence
- establish clearly defined study goals for each student
- instruct in a patient, kind, and lively manner where any and all questions are encouraged
