Virtual Sessions

Becca has been successfully meeting virtually with students (all over the world) since Spring 2020 semester. Due to COVID-19 uncertainties, safety concerns for students, and campus limitations on meeting in groups, all tutoring sessions are conducted virtually by Zoom, unless conditions change. 

Just like in-person tutoring, every session is fully customized. During each virtual session:

• Becca and the student can see each other on the screen
• Becca can see the student’s screen using the “Screen Share” feature, which can be used to share online assignments, e-textbooks, and class notes 
• Becca sets up her cell phone camera pointed at her notes that she takes during each session so students can see notes taken in real-time
• Becca sends a text message with pictures of the notes to the student after each session
